When you have done the work to uplift yourself, you will have enough and more of your energy to offer others.
Let your focus and intention be to uplift yourself every moment. Choose good-feeling thoughts and treat your own mind with kindness throughout the day.
Stop giving attention to things that do not make you feel good.
When you continue to give attention to what does not feel good, you get into judgment.
Your judgment makes you think that you have to take charge to make the people or the situations better, so that it will help you to feel better. But this never works.
The more you see the world as broken and try to fix things for others, you find yourself draining your energy and you are down completely.
Take a step back. Let people be who they are, they will show you their true intention.
Let them do their thing, and you just focus on doing your own thing.
Use the time and energy you spend on justifying, explaining or trying to fix others in a better way for your own self.
Your work is to make yourself better, replenish yourself.
Care about how you feel, just walk away from situations and people that drain your energy.
Withdraw yourself from the conditions you cannot control, stop trying to change the condition so that you can feel good. Instead get into a place of alignment with your own inner being where you find true love and comfort.
Never place your worth on people’s approval or appreciation. People cannot give this to you, you will be waiting and get disappointed.
Start uplifting yourself.
Daily practices to uplift yourself:
1. Step away from drama, negative news or people who drain your peace.
2. Direct your attention to your personal progress instead of worrying about what others think.
3. When you wake up, get excited about your day, tell yourself, I have been given this fresh new day to create more joy for myself. When you tell yourself something, really believe it.
4. Often during the day, take a deep breath and just smile for no reason. Continue appreciating small comforts like a quiet moment of rest, a cup of coffee, a smile from a friend.
5. When disturbing thoughts come up, learn to speak kindly to yourself, avoid harsh self-judgment and forgive your mistakes.
6. Look at things in a better way and tell a story about them to yourself in a better way. The narrative you tell yourself literally becomes your identity.
Intentionally uplifting yourself with self care of body, mind and soul you are powering yourself up to create pleasant changes in your life situations. You experience yourself flowing through life experiences with ease.
Blessings!
