PERSPECTIVE MATTERS

Life is a ‘state of mind’, it is not what you do but what you believe. What you believe becomes powerful to create your reality.

We have the gift of choice to attune ourselves to our senses and use them more effectively to elevate our perspective about life. Perspective matters, the way you view a situation shapes how we interpret reality, solve problems and connect with others. By shifting our viewpoint, we can break free from conflict and find creative solutions to challenges.

Our State of mind has the power to provide a transcendent life experience. As sentient beings our state of mind creates our reality.

To shift to a state of mind, a focused attention is required for about 15 – 20 minutes each day.

To sit with ourselves and cultivate the sensitivity of our conscious awareness is the most important task. The hardest task for many of us is to sit alone with oneself and contemplate. But when we can take this time for ourselves, our mind, body and feelings work together to bring us to a state of overall well being. We get to transform our lives and the lives of others around us.

Practicing active gratitude, stillness and mindfulness in the present moment we elevate our state of mind. It makes us confident, fearless and empowered.

Neuroscience research shows that being in a conscious state of gratitude for at least 15 -20 minutes a day helps release powerful neurotransmitters that are healing chemicals that generate feelings of happiness, peace, calm and overall wellbeing. Over time, this simple practice supports long‑term mental well‑being, improving sleep quality and reducing anxiety.

So mindfully set aside a time for yourself during the day to elevate your state of mind. Switch off your phone and other gadgets. Step away from distractions. Sit with yourself in silence and make this new reality for you today.

And then deliberately choose to create a pleasant state of mind with conscious awareness. Give thanks for everything you already have, and for everything that is on its way to you as you continue your life’s journey.

Cultivating the habit of appreciation and maintaining a gratitude journal is an excellent practice.

You owe it to yourself and the rest of the world to live your best life now and become a positive force for humanity.

Blessings!
