RETURNING TO INNOCENCE – A SACRED JOURNEY

Innocence means the absence of judgment towards oneself or towards others. It is a state of being where the mind is not clouded by thoughts, stories, or memories.

Many ancient teachings invite us to return to innocence as a way to align with the heart of the Great Creator. The Creator being is pure love, it does not judge. It simply falls in love with everything, knowing that all things are reflections of itself.

Alignment with the Creator’s heart happens when we too learn to fall in love with everything.
Babies, children and animals draw us in because innocence shines through their eyes. Their minds are not busy with judgment or memory. Their simple trust in life awakens tenderness in the hearts of those who look at them.

Innocence is a powerful state of mind that is close to the heart of the Creator. When we live from the busy mind and its judgmental stories we drift away from this state. This creates stress, confusion, loneliness and a sense of being lost.

Returning to innocence may sound simple but it is real inner work. It is a conscious deliberate choice.
It means living in harmony with life, celebrating each moment with appreciation and practicing acceptance, allowing and simple trust.

The human logical mind is deeply rooted in separation and judgment. It does not trust the process of life. It tries to manipulate outcomes, prove itself and push its own agenda. This leads to disappointments, stress and confusion. Life begins to feel heavy.

But when we choose the path of innocence, things fall into place naturally in amazing ways, because we are no longer resisting life.

Returning to Innocence – Daily Practice

1. Stop believing every thought. Thoughts gain power only when we accept them as truth. Pause before reacting. Don’t jump to conclusions. Be patient, listen deeply and allow understanding to arise.

2. Shift your perception. Move your attention away from the mind’s stories and choose gratitude and appreciation. Deliberately look for the better interpretation, the kinder angle, the more loving view.

3.See through the eyes of unconditional love. Do not see others through the lens of your mind’s narrative. See them as the Creator sees them. Creator sees everyone as forever innocent. Every person, given their circumstances and experiences , is doing the best they can in that moment.

4. Practice Self compassion. Stop hurting yourself with judgmental thoughts. Remember that you are made of the same essence of the Creator which is pure unconditional love. You are love in human form.Treat yourself with tenderness. Every experience is guiding you toward embodying more of the love that you already are.

When we trust life and return to innocence, our path becomes lighter, we move with grace. We rediscover the natural harmony and abundance that has always been available to us.
Blessings!
