HUMILITY

HUMILITY
True humility is born when we learn to love and accept ourselves completely.
It is the sacred emptying of all past stories, the shedding of labels, identities, and illusions of who we think we are.

The path to humility is not easy.
It is the path of transformation.
Without self-love and acceptance, humility remains misunderstood.

If we attempt to practice humility without first embracing ourselves, we risk living from wounds, which are stories of lack, self-pity, and diminished worth.
Too often, humility is mistaken for weakness.
But humility is not weakness.
It is power, radiant power, the kind of power that arises when we release our past and allow the LOVE of the Creator to flow through us.

When we have not yet learned to love ourselves, feelings of unworthiness may even cause us to reject Divine love.
We cannot truly receive when we are full of the stories of “I”:
“I am this… I am that… my pain, my situation, my story…”
These narratives crowd the heart, leaving no room for grace.

To return to Divine love, we must choose to love ourselves.
Self-love is a sacred practice of gratitude and appreciation—
for who we are and for all of existence.

We are pure love.
We are divine beings.
We are part of each other, inseparable in essence.
Only the mind’s stories obscure this truth.

The deeper purpose of this human life is to willingly cleanse the mind of its judgmental stories, to erase the illusions that block the flow of divinity.
And as we cleanse our stories, we help cleanse the world.
In humility, we become the empty cup, ready to receive Divine inspiration.

A Gentle Practice for Humility
To begin releasing the mind’s stories, try this simple practice:
1.Sit quietly.
2. Let your body be still and your breath gentle.
3. Watch your thoughts. Let them pass like clouds in the sky.
Don’t interfere. Don’t judge. Just witness.

Remember, if a thought arises saying, “this is good” or “this is bad” just gently return to watching. If you get into the judgment it pulls you back into the story.

At first, it may feel difficult.
But with time, a space opens between you and your thoughts.
And in that space, something beautiful happens, you get to realize that you are not your mind.
You realize yourself as the witness, the quiet watcher.

As you rest more deeply in this witnessing, the thoughts begin to fade. The mind becomes clear and still.
In that stillness, you awaken.
You become free, you realize yourself as a wholesome unconditional being of love and wisdom.
Blessings!
