RELEASING PAIN
Self discovery and self love are empowering exercises.
Understanding that you are not the body not the mind but the caretaker of them is the first step to self empowerment.
Take time to sit with the body, be kind to the body/mind, notice the rush of unconscious thoughts.
We carry a huge reservoir of accumulated negative feelings, attitudes and beliefs. The accumulated pressure makes us miserable, it is the basis for most of the problems in life.
We are energy beings and the nature of energy is to flow freely, constantly. When there are incompatible beliefs stored in the body/mind resistance happens and it causes painful experiences.
When we relax around the pain, the pain moves. Sitting in stillness, focusing attention on the pain, we get to notice the underlying belief for the pain. The moment we identify it, the belief does not work anymore, and it gets washed out through our tears.
Painful experiences are not something to bottle up or get past, they are to be addressed. Be in the moment with them and allow yourself to experience the beauty of the release.
I have noticed that our attention is powerful, thoughts and emotions are like little children with a temper tantrum. When we sit with this little child and give it our attention, the temper tantrum subsides.
Working with the body, sitting with it, processing thoughts and emotions we free the body from the past mind stories.
The judgmental layers of the past keep us away from our own Divinity. Forgetting our Divinity is the greatest illusion on this Planet.
As explained by Dr. David Hawkins, it is taking time to sit with oneself and allowing the feelings to come up, staying with it, and letting it run its course without wanting to make it different or do anything about it.
Letting the feeling be there and letting out the energy behind it.
To drop the judgment, notice that it is just a feeling.
The technique is to be with the feeling and surrender all efforts to modify it. Let go of wanting to resist the feeling. It will then shift to the next feeling accompanied by a lighter sensation.
The important point to note here is that the feeling that is not resisted will disappear as the energy behind it dissipates.
During this process, just focus on the feeling and ignore all thoughts.
Dr. David Hawkins from his more than 50 years of research in consciousness, says that the real reason for the feeling is the accumulated pressure behind the feeling forcing it to come up in the moment. Thoughts or external events are only an excuse made up by the mind to bring out the feeling.
The most important work at hand is to be kind to oneself, to sit with the body/mind and release it from past mind stories, to constantly bring one’s inner environment to a pleasant place.
This is the key to well-being, it helps us move through life with effortless ease.
Blessings!
