Many of us think that we are the body and the mind. We take the body for granted, we overwork it, we eat the wrong kind of foods and we do not process our stress thoughts.
The body and mind are our vehicle to communicate with this physical world.
We are not this body, but we were given this body to take care of. The body being is not only physical, it is also mental and emotional.
The body was designed to thrive and last for a long time.
The mind was created to lovingly take care of the body. The mind is constantly working to keep the body from harm.
The body is like our pet and we need to be very responsible in taking care of it.
Giving the physical body the right kind of food, food that rejuvenates and refreshes the body, and giving enough amount of water and rest will keep the body in a good condition.
The mind and emotion also need to be taken care of by responsibly processing thoughts that do not support us in any way.
The mind and emotions need to be balanced with good mind-food, which is choosing good thoughts, feeding positive affirmations, refusing to bind emotions to thoughts that disturb and create chaos, letting go and dropping the baggage of negative thoughts and choosing to consciously connect with the body being.
Since the body is the microcosm of the macrocosm (universe) consciously connecting with the body being helps to align with existence, to get into harmony with existence.
When we forget to consciously connect, we experience chaos and confusion not only within the body/mind but also on the world outside.
The best person to take care of the needs of the body and mind is you yourself, no one can do this for you.
Change your perspective, understand that you are not your body, not the mind, but you are the grand being who focuses attention on the physical world through this beautiful body vehicle to gather wisdom. And so you are responsible for keeping your body/mind vehicle in perfect condition so that you can move through the human experience with ease.
Choose to be consciously aware of the body/mind, work with the body/mind, become its best friend, feed it with goodness so that your body/mind can blossom with health, beauty, confidence and clarity.
The more you are lovingly taking care of your body/mind, you are able to tap into your inner wisdom and live on the planet as the wise being that you truly are.
Your conscious presence becomes a grand gift not only for you but also for all humanity and for this, our beautiful Planet.
