Consciousness is awareness of the self and self awareness.
The state of our consciousness matters.
Our state of consciousness is responsible for the kind of world we create.
Each person is creating the reality they live in.
When one’s consciousness is hate filled it produces a world of suffering and dysfunction.
A compassionate and cooperative state of consciousness produces a world of beauty, health and sustainability.
Most of the suffering, especially psychological pain is created by the way we perceive life and life situations. It is a part of how we hold our state of consciousness. We our perception with us wherever we go.
Our reality is a reflection of our state of consciousness and it is not a place that we are locked in.
The physical place or situation outside exits only as long as we are in a physical body perceiving with our physical senses.
It is important to realize that wherever we are is who we are, because it is a reflection of the consciousness we hold.
We live in a larger world but we are also creating our own personal reality.
To create a new reality we change our perception, we teach our brain to think differently, we create a new personality of ourselves.
We are powerful beings, our circumstances cannot overpower us unless we allow it to.
Working on ourselves to expand our consciousness is important. It helps us be greater than our circumstances and help us to create grand solutions.
Choosing to encourage new and beautiful thoughts of appreciation and gratitude, of lightheartedness, choosing to sit with oneself to imagine happy satisfying situations, literally teaching our brain to think differently, we create new connections in the brain. Making the new thinking a habit, revisiting it again and again creates a stable wiring in the brain.
The first time I tried water fasting for 3 days, I helped myself with vivid imagination and interpretation, teaching my brain to think differently and created a successful result.
About 5 years ago my health was failing, my loved one had just passed and I was in extreme psychological and physical pain.
I was on a lot of medications.
I chose not to medicate myself but to heal my body the natural way by trusting my body’s wisdom.
I chose to try water fast for 3 days. I have never fasted in my life, but this was a step I took towards healing myself and trusting the wisdom of my body.
The first day of the water fast, I distracted myself from the thought of food by listening to music, watching a movie, going for a walk, talking to friends and not peeping into my kitchen.
The second day my mind started rebelling, it started bringing me thoughts of all my favorite food. By afternoon I was so hungry, frustrated and tired. I then sat with myself and decided to teach my brain to think differently.
I closed my eyes and imagined a huge plate of my favorite food in front of me and with all my senses I participated in the imagination of eating the food, feeling the flavor and taste and the texture as I chewed it. I simply enjoyed eating the food fully in my mind’s eye. After about 15 minutes I opened my eyes , I was so full and satisfied and my body did not want food anymore that day.
So the next day, the third day I went ahead and did the same imagination even before my body could start rebelling.
I finished my 3 day water fast successfully.
It has become more easier now for me to skip meals.
Working with the body and mind is an act of empowerment.
When we work with our inner world, our outer world changes, it starts to match our inner world.
Our perception and interpretation is powerful to bring change.
We can expand ourselves wherever we are because the situation or physical things outside is only an awareness state.
We do not need to escape our circumstances, all we need to do is to elevate our consciousness, expand our awareness.
Practicing gratitude and appreciation helps us to tune ourselves to the gifts of life.
Learning to love and forgive ourselves, we make wise decisions and choices that empower us and create beautiful changes in our reality.
We create our personal reality 100 percent of the time. It is important to sit with ourselves, process our thoughts, dream, have a vision and start to live as if the future is really happening at this present moment.
We are powerful dreamers and visionaries.
It is time we activate our power to create beauty and joy for ourselves and our Planet.
