A REMINDER TO SELF
BE KIND TO YOURSELF
Life on Planet Earth is challenging. Every one goes through tough times. We get hurt. We are confronted by that which we cannot avoid.
These times call for expanding and elevating ourselves by changing our perception.
It is about how to fall and get back. It is about learning to connect back with life.
The problem triggers the solution. The obstacle makes the way to turn adversity to your advantage.
Falling is a part of life. Learning to fall without hurting oneself is an empowering practice. Learn to remain centered even when you fall.
No one outside you can make you get centered, it is your job absolutely.
Only you can change your perspective and empower yourself by being more loving and kind towards yourself.
The bad behaviors and bad opinions of others create stress and discord in our life.
The important thing to remember is that we can choose to be our own best friend.
Being our own best friend is to be kind and loving towards one’s own self.
There are instances where we take in the opinion of others around us and we judge and criticize ourselves.
A person would have hurt us only once but we take their bad opinion and keep ruminating it again and again in our mind for days and years and we continue to hurt ourselves.
People can have their opinions, but do not make it yours.
Understand that you are love, you are life and you are beautiful, elevate your perception of yourself.
A simple exercise is to write the opposite of the negative statement that you received from someone on a piece of paper. Carry it in your pocket and read it throughout the day.
To receive love and acceptance from others, we continue to compare and compete with others and we put down ourselves.
This is unkindness to the self.
When we are unkind to ourselves, we forget to live the truth of who we are. We stop noticing the gifts that we are born with, we take others opinions for granted and live our life in stress.
We are love, we are a part of Source Energy, we each one of us are highly gifted, our gifts elevate our life mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Understanding this deeply, we center ourselves and we get to live our life from the truth of who we are. Each one of us is made unique, no on can be compared to another person.
Comparing and competing has destroyed our gifts and when we forget to live from our truth, we face chaos and confusion.
You are beautiful.
There is no comparison.
You are love.
You are Divinity in physicality.
In all interactions with life ask yourself these questions. If you come up with a negative answer, change your way of thinking.
Am I kind to myself?
Am I being my own best friend?
The answer to these questions are your greatest teachers.
Feed your mind with kind thoughts.
Do anything and everything that centers you and connects you back with life.
Connect with nature. Play with a pet. Run down the beach. Hug a tree. Sleep well. Move your body, Eat healthy. Meditate. Make love. Grieve fully. Practice gratitude. Breathe consciously.
Be kind to yourself. Value and appreciate your life.
You are Divinely loved at all times.
You are worthy to live a wonderful life.
