A REMINDER TO SELF
YOU ARE THE GIFT
Blessed are we when we choose to wake up to our inner warmth and brilliance.
If a seed needs to grow, it has to break open and die to being a seed, and become a new being, a tree.
If a caterpillar needs to grow, it has to die to being a caterpillar and become a new being, a butterfly.
If a person needs to grow up they have to die to the sleep state of separation and become fully awakened to become a new being, a being of love and wisdom, a being who can embrace all creation as an aspect of oneself.
If someone is carrying on the drama of separation by being selfish, greedy, cruel, jealous, or wicked, this someone is still asleep to their warmth and brilliance. They have not yet realized the truth of who they are.
All dramas are like the clouds that block the light.
Once people wake up, they can never go back to sleep.
When they wake up to the truth of who they are they become responsible (able to respond rather than react) towards life.
We are all eternally connected with each other. What we do to others we do to ourselves.
The willingness to wake up is the greatest service we can offer to life.
Let us be willing to slow down, get into stillness, and wake up to the brilliance that we are.
We are the gift that we have been waiting for.
