A Question and Answer:
Recently a sweet friend had a very trying time with her loved ones making bad choices in life. She wanted to know what would be the best way to keep oneself in clarity and in a loving place.
Question: What is the right way to deal with situations when our loved ones make bad decisions. (and this loved one is a mature elder person)
Answer: Yes relationships are extremely challenging. The highest respect and the highest love you can offer to your loved ones is to allow them to be who they are. Respect their decision and give space for them to work it out on their own. When a baby starts walking it falls many times, do we tell the baby not to walk anymore because it falls? No, we don’t ,we make the child to walk. It is the same way. Trust the process of life. When you are worried about them you are living their life and there is no one to live your life, that is when you become emotionally drained. I would ask you to do a small exercise many times during the day, this will bring you clarity and wisdom. Place your hand on your heart and just imagine as if you are breathing in and out through your heart and continue to say, “I love you , I thank you ‘ to your heart. Your heart is the seat of wisdom, it is in a dimension beyond time and space and the more you do this you get to receive divine comfort, divine wisdom and divine love from your Higher Self. You will definitely see a shift in your reality.
Blessings!
