COMFORT DURING GRIEF

Dear Friends,
Today two of my dear friends have lost their very close family members.
I enfold them in my heart and in my prayers.
I would like to share two important things that I shared with them at this time. There are many dear ones out there now going through the grief of losing your loved ones. I hope that this message might bring you comfort at this time.
The most profound truth is that we can never be separated from the people we love even though they have departed from this physical planet. They are forever connected with us in our heart. And every time we think about them it is one grand visitation with them.
The soul knows this but the body-being cannot understand. The body-being longs for the touch of the loved one, it longs to hear their physical voice. So it is wise to allow the body being to grieve.
Only through grieving the body can process the emotion. Allow space for yourself to grieve. Be very kind with yourself. Treat yourself as a little child and comfort yourself.
Literally see yourself as a little child, place the child on your lap and comfort it.
The next important thing to know is that our loved ones never leave us, they are united with us in our heart space, in our feeling space. The heart is a powerful place of intuition, it is connected to dimensions beyond time and space.
So, sit with yourself in silence, place your hand on your heart, and in your mind’s eye think of your loved one who has passed, see them smiling and happy and see yourself with them, hug them and tell them your love. Acknowledge their presence and bless them on their journey beyond time and space. This is a very powerful practice.
This practice will bring great relief for ourselves and at the same time it is a precious gift we give to our departed loved ones.
So when we see our departed loved one in our mind’s eye, they are there with us in consciousness. Connecting with them and telling them of our love will bring great confirmation of their presence and wonderful healing for our heart.
Blessings!
